Rosemary Fletcher, 80, of Graysville, Pa. died unexpectedly at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 in WVU Hospitals, Inc. (Ruby Memorial Hospital), Morgantown, W.Va. She was born April 12, 1931 in Aleppo Twp. Greene Co. Pa., a daughter of the late Earl C. and Violet Pearle Cook Bissett and had resided in the Graysville area since 1950.Mrs. Fletcher was a former member of the Union Valley United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church at the time of her death, and was an active member and volunteer during Vacation Bible School with both churches.She was a 1949 graduate of the former Richhill High School in Wind Ridge.Mrs. Fletcher was a former member of the West Greene School Board, served on the West Greene Transportation Committee, a former Richhill Twp. Assessor and substitute mail carrier in Graysville, a volunteer with the Greene County Food Bank and a Red Cross volunteer.Mrs. Fletcher was employed as a bus driver with West Greene School District for 37 years prior to her retirement in January 2011 and was the primary driver of the student activities bus for most of those years, and was last employed as a bus driver for Fox Transportation in Waynesburg.On January 2, 1950 she married Robert Loar Fletcher who died June 15, 2007.Surviving are two daughters, Diane, wife of Christopher McCauley of Graysville and Sharon, wife of Robert Iltis of Cobden, IL.; a granddaughter, Bridgette McCauley; a God-son, Joshua Huskey, U.S. Marines, Camp Pendleton, CA.; a sister, Marilyn Husky of Wyanet,IL.; two brothers, Hubert Bissett and Walter "Shorty", husband of Carol Bissett both of Center Twp.; several nieces and nephews.Also leaves behind her adoring persian cats, Muffin, Angel and Fluffers.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are, a sister, Jean Antill; three brothers, Paul E., George V. and H. William(Bill) Bissett.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the West Greene School District Libraries, Greene County Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
