Ronald Phillip Crawford

Ronald P. Crawford, 75, of Waynesburg, Pa. and formerly of Gilmore Twp. (Jollytown), Pa. died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in The Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. after being in failing health for the past six years.

He was born January 28, 1941 in Washington D.C., a son of the late William Leroy and Alma Lorraine Crawford and had been a resident of Greene County for the past several years.

Mr. Crawford was employed as an auto mechanic most of his working life and enjoyed farming and his grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Clifford Crawford of Morgantown, W.Va. and William (Bill), husband of Tracy Crawford of Gilmore Twp. (Jollytown), Pa.; two daughters, Carolyn Bunny Shipman of Littleton, W.Va. and Rhonda Crawford, companion of Travis Guthrie of New Freeport; ten grandchildren.

Deceased in addition to his parents is a son Adam Crawford and a granddaughter, Savannah Hennen.

At the request of the family there will be no public services, and a private interment will be held in Rosemont Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Savannah Hennen Scholarship Fund, c/o Carolyn Shipman, 3094 Sugar Run Rd., Littleton, W.VA. 26581.
