Roger Debolt

Roger D. DeBolt, 49, of Franklin Twp., Greene Co., Pa. died at 1:32 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in his home after being seriously ill for the past year. He was born September 3, 1964 in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of the late James Hobert and Betty Juanita Wychoff DeBolt and had resided in Greene County all his life. Mr. DeBolt attended West Greene High School, was a member of the D.A.V. Post 123 in Waynesburg and enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren. Surviving are his companion, Wendy L. Johnson; a son, Joshua D. DeBolt and a daughter, Kayla L. DeBolt both of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Joshua DeBolt, Jr., Jennifer, and Abrianna DeBolt; four brothers, James, husband of Remona DeBolt of Aleppo, Pa., Jack, husband of Carol DeBolt of Waynesburg, Howard (Pete), husband of Maxine DeBolt of Silver Hills, W. Va., and Richard DeBolt of New Freeport; two sisters, Marne Simpson of Waynesburg, and Charlotte Pecjak of Carmichaels. Deceased in addition to his parents are a brother, Johnny DeBolt and a sister, Linda DeBolt. Friends will be received from 11 to 1 p.m., the time of funeral services, Friday, August 8, 2014 in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc., Rogersville, Pa., with Rev. Vernon K. Berdine officiating.
