Robert Kimble Sr

Robert G. Kimble, Sr., 79, of Alliance, Ohio and formerly of Greene Co. Pa. died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2009 in Canterbury Villa of Alliance Nursing Home in Alliance, Ohio.He was born March 28, 1930 in Springhill Twp. (Deep Valley) Greene Co. Pa. a son of the late Alva Paul and Mary Edna Gray Kimble.Mr. Kimble was a member of the Bolton U.M. Church in Alliance.He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served as a PFC with the U. S. Army.Mr. Kimble was last employed as a machine operator with SanCap Manufacturing in Alliance prior to his retirement.On October 31, 1953 he married Greta "Joan" Cramer who died March 1, 1993.Surviving are three sons, Robert G. Kimble, Jr., husband of Tamara Kimble of Alliance, Randall G. Kimble of Huntsville, Alabama and Douglas A. Kimble of North Olmstead, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jeffrey S., Eric G. and Tanya Kimble.Deceased in addition to his parents and his wife are two brothers and three sisters.Mr. Kimble was the last of his immediate family.
