Robert "Bob" W. Cole, Jr.

Robert “Bob” W. Cole, Jr., age 67, of Waynesburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in his home.

Born November 23, 1953 in Greene County, son of the late Robert Sr. and Clara (Tharp) Cole.

Bob lived most of his life in Greene County. He graduated from Uniontown High School in 1972. Bob served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Waynesburg American Legion Post #330, Waynesburg Moose Lodge Post #461, and Waynesburg V.F.W. Post #4793. He was employed as a custodian for the Greene County Vo-Tech for 14 years until he retired in 2015. He loved to play chess.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (Cole) Fletcher, of Waynesburg; one sister, Mary Ann Hanley, of Waynesburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Cole.
