Ricky Eddy

Ricky E. Eddy, 5l, of Nemacolin, Pa. and formerly of Fairview, W.Va. died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 in the Donnell House, Washington, Pa. He had been in poor health for the past several years and only recently diagnosed with a cancer related illness.He was born July 29, 1960 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of the late Kenneth Eugene and Patricia Belle Myers Eddy.Mr. Eddy was 1979 graduate of Waynesburg (Central Greene) High School.He enjoyed fishing, professional wrestling, N.A.S.C.A.R. and the outdoors in general and was known for his carefree attitude.Mr. Eddy was formerly employed on an alligator farm in Florida for several years prior to being employed by Woods Cabinetry in 84, Pa. until retiring in 2002 due to ill health.Surviving are his children, Corey Richard Eddy of Okeechobee, Fl., Beth Dean, fiance' of Dave Harris of Nemacolin, who has been his caregiver since 2007, Michael Dean and Dalton Eddy, both of Sycamore and Heather Dean of Aliquippa; four grandchildren, Hailey Eddy, Addison and Alexander Harris, Ethyn Rice; four sisters, Pamela Purdy of Harrisville, Pa., C. Marlene, wife of Roger Seaman of Fairview, W.Va., Jacki, wife of Richard Headlee of Waynesburg and Trina Presock of Crucible; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers, Craig and Kenneth Lee Eddy.The family request that no flowers be sent to the funeral home, memorial contributions should be made to a charity of your choice.
