Richard Yoders

Richard E. Yoders, 71, of Holbrook, Pa. R.D.#1 died at 3:20 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2003 in Mount Macrina Manor (Hospice Care Facility) in Uniontown, Pa. after a 6-month cancer related illness.He was born October 11, 1932 in Aleppo Township, Greene County, Pa. a son of Raymond Jessie and Laura Mildred Hull Yoders.Mrs. Yoders had resided in Jackson Township for 42 years prior to moving to Wayne Township in December 2002.He was Protestant.Mr. Yoders was a 1951 graduate of Richhill Township High School.He was employed as the maintenance foreman by Ryerson Station State Park for 25 years prior to retiring in 1991.On September 18, 1955 he married JoAnn Murphy Yoders who survives.Also surviving are two sons, Richard L. Yoders of Mifflintown, Pa. and David E. Yoders of Mt. Morris, Pa.; a brother, John E. Yoders of Carlisle, Pa.; a sister, Geraldine Yoders of Washington, Pa.; a step granddaughter, Allison Harding.Deceased is a brother, Charles Yoders; a brother and a sister died in infancy.. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. 26505
