Richard Bowers

Richard L. "Rich" Bowers, 27, of Center Twp. Greene Co. Pa. died unexpectedly Saturday, March 14, 2009 at his home.He was born August 18, 1981 in Washington, Pa. a son of Howard Stanley Collins of Ohio and Linda Marie Morris Lough of Coraopolis, Pa. He was adopted and raised by his grandparents, Millis L. "Mid" Cheek Bowers of Graysville, Pa. and the late Harold L. "Fuzzy" Bowers.Mr. Bowers was a 2000 graduate of West Greene High School and had resided in the Graysville and Center Twp. areas all his life.He enjoyed showing and training beagle dogs with his family, personal writing, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and NASCAR fan, and his favorite pastime was playing Playstation 3 games.Mr. Bowers was a former employee of Gazony's Towing in Moon Twp., Walt Al's Towing in Carnegie and the Kiowa plant in Waynesburg and was last employed by the Quality Mattress Factory Outlet as a delivery driver.He was a former member of the Graysville V.F.D.Surviving in addition to his mother and adoptive mother are two brothers, David Bowers of Graysville and Art, husband of Gina Hoge Morris of Waynesburg; four sisters, Bridget, wife of Brad A. Braddock of Wind Ridge, Brandi, wife of Chris Kisner of Aleppo (McCracken), Louise Clutter of Washington and Peggy Pritt of W.Va. Deceased is his grandfather and adoptive father, Harold L. "Fuzzy" Bowers.
