Rhonda Wood

Biography Rhonda J. Wood, 55, of Holbrook, Pa. died at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in her home. She was born April 2, 1959 in New Martinsville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ronald Jacob Allman and Betty Jo Jennings Allman of Moundsville, W.Va. and had resided in Greene County for most of her life. Mrs. Wood was a 1976 graduate of West Greene High School. She retired as a medical assistant for the Benwood Medical Clinic in Benwood, W.VA in 2010. Mrs. Wood enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren In 1977 she married Gene Marshall who died in August of 1998 and on June 4, 2003 she married Daniel R. Wood who survives. Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are two daughters, Stephanie, wife of Bill Burkle of Wheeling, W.Va. and Deanne Miller of New Castle, Pa.; three sons, Dale Marshall of Wheeling, W.Va., Justin, husband of Heather Wood of Barracksville, W.Va., and Kyle, husband of Jessica Wood of Glen Easton, W.Va.; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; and two brothers, Troy Allman of Cameron, W.Va. and Doug, husband of Terri Allman of Moundsville, W.Va. At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or services. Interment is private at the request of the deceased. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Hope for Hines, Mikalis Meat Market, 58 Carmel Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003.
