Ralph E. Shaw

Ralph E. Shaw, age 84, of West Finley, PA, passed away Friday, June 16, 2016 in Washington, PA after being seriously ill for the past month.

Born September 7, 1932, he was the son of the late Floyd Wray and Jessie (Walker) Shaw.

Ralph graduated from Claysville High School. In December of 1956, Ralph Married Betty Ann Kitzmiller. Ralph was a member of Enon Baptist Church in West Finley, PA. He worked as a pipeline welder in New Jersey for Local 798 for over 20 years prior to returning to his family farm in 1976. Ralph enjoyed farming, raising cattle and sheep. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by his beloved wife Betty Ann Shaw, of West Finley, PA; nieces and nephews, Rick (Sheila) Shaw of West Alexander, PA, Jeff (Jen) Shaw of Hamilton, NJ, Jolene (Dominick) Botteri of Hamilton, NJ, Stephanie Shaw of NC, and Stacy Shaw of Washington; one brother, Reed (Karen) Shaw of Prosperity, PA; several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Shaw.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359. (724) 499-5181. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M at the funeral home with Lay Pastor Paul Thomas, officiating. Interment will follow at Enon Cemetery, Richhill Twp.
