Pearl Burge

Pearl F. Burge, 86, of Brave, Pa. died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 17, 2007 in the WVU Hospitals Inc., (Ruby Memorial Hospital), Morgantown, W.Va.. She was born April 10, 1921 in Rudolph Run, Greene Co. a daughter of Albert Sylvester and Lillian Capitola Taylor Ireland and had resided in Greene County all her life and in Brave since 1987.She was last employed in the State of Maine during the potato harvest season as a cook.She was formerly married to the late Raymond Albert Burge.Surviving are a daughter, Grace, wife of William Edward Roupe of Brave; twins, Mary Ann Burge, wife of Richard A. Herrick of Rogersville and Robert Ross Burge of Brave; nine grandchildren including William Carl, husband of Rachael Sine Burge of Brave, whom she raised; two great grandchildren .Deceased are a son, Raymond A. Burge, Jr. who died in infancy; three daughters, Mary Cathrine Burge, Lillian Burge Cumberledge and Barbara E. "Cookie" Burge Galford; four brothers, William, Ross, John and Walter Clarence Ireland who died in infancy; one sister, Mary Kelly. She was the last of her immediate family.
