Paul L. Bonar, 76, of Uniontown, Pa. and formerly of Cameron, W.Va. and Aleppo, Pa. died at 3:44 a.m.Wednesday, August 20, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital.He was born October 25, 1926 in Cameron, W.Va. a son of the late Raymond and Iona Truax Bonar.Mr. Bonar had resided in the Cameron, W.Va. and Aleppo, Pa. areas all his life prior to moving to Uniontown in 1960.He was a veteran of World War II where he served as a private first class with the U.S. Army in the HQ Company, 18th Infantry, and was awarded the Army Occupation Medal (Germany) and the World War II Victory Medal.Mr. Bonar was a member of the Cameron American Legion Post 18 and the Cameron Masonic Lodge #17 FAM.He was a "Pioneer" employee with Texas Eastern Transmission for 38 years prior to retiring in 1985 as a pipeline supervisor.On March 5, 1949 he married Beulah E. Ross Bonar who survives.Also surviving are a son, Gary Ray Bonar of Grantsville, MD; two brothers, Raymond Donald Bonar of Cameron, W.Va. and Robert I. Bonar of Morgantown, W.Va.; three sisters, Wanda Lee Sewill of Ft. Worth, Texas, Ada Evans of Beaver Falls, Pa. and Lois Tarbet of Waynesburg, Pa.; one granddaughter, Lauren Hope Bonar of Accident, MD.Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers, Lawrence and Delbert Bonar. Graveside military rites will be accorded by the V.F.W. Post 4793, American Legion Post 330 and the D.A.V. Post 123 all of Waynesburg
