Patricia "Patty" Ann Gray

Patricia Ann “Patty” (Bridges) Gray, age 91 of Wind Ridge passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at home with her family by her side.

She was born in Benwood, WV, on January 14, 1930 of the late Robert Lincoln Bridges and Mary Elizabeth (Murphy) Bridges of Cameron, WV.

Patty married the late Benjamin Franklin Gray on November 10, 1946 and were happily married for 52 years before his passing in 1998. She was a lifetime resident of Wind Ridge, a member and deacon at the United Presbyterian Church in Wind Ridge. Patty enjoyed her grandchildren, reading books, traveling, music, spaghetti, puzzles, flowers, her cat “Miss Kitty”; visiting the Graysville Senior Center and going out to eat.

She had her own business named “Patty’s Place” restaurant and bar for 30 years, from 1967 until she retired in 1997.

Patty is survived by five children, Rose Marie Dobbs of Pleasant Valley, WV, Thomas Frank (Linda) Gray of Cameron, WV, Suzanne (Alex) Alto of Fontana, CA, Cindy (Neil) Watson of Wind Ridge, PA, and Cathy (Mark) Lucey of Tarpon, FL; 5 grandchildren, Tonya Marie (Freddie) Cole of St. Clairsville, OH, Ricky (Diana) Beresford of Cameron, WV, Christopher (Mindy) Beresford of Morgantown, WV, Jason (Lori Watson) Lucey, and John Dale Dobbs both of Wind Ridge, PA; seven grandchildren, Taylor Renee and Brody Neil Beresford, Marshal Gentry Dobbs, Morgan Taylor, Jaden Lucey, Casey and Tyler Morrison.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Roy Bridges; two sisters, Ellen Richmond, and Mona Hewitt; and two grandchildren, Robert Neil Watson, and Heather Renee Lucey.

Friends will be received Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 11am to 1pm at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. The funeral service will be held at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Linda Shaw, officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery in Wind Ridge, PA.
