Ora Belle Shreve

Ora Belle Shreve, age 101, of Aleppo Twp., PA, went to be with her Savior on Monday, March 27, 2017 with her children and grandchildren by her side.

Born December 29, 1915, in Smithfield, WV, she is the daughter of the late Thomas William and Emma Virginia (Hayes) Shafer.

Ora was a member of the Church of Christ, New Freeport, PA. She resided in Springhill Twp., Deep Valley, PA.

She is survived by her children, Arrahwanna McMasters, of Moundsville, WV, Juanita Shaffer, of Byron Center, MI, and Ronald D. Shreve, of Hundred, WV; two sisters, Virginia Couch, of Grand Rapids, MI, and June E. Johnson, of Hastings, MI; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Francis Shreve; two sons, Gerald Shreve and Floyd Charles Shreve; a grandson, Chuckie L. Shreve; a great-grandson, Charles F. Shreve; eight brothers, Dale Shafer, Delbert Shafer, Thomas W. Shafer, Jr; Ray Shafer, Orval L. Shafer, Earl W. Shafer, Paul E. Shafer and Earnest J. Shafer; four sisters, Opal Miller, Trudy Woolf, Ola L. Johnson and Doris J. Shafer.

Services are private and have been entrusted to Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy.
