Opal Bedillion

Opal M. Bedillion, 80, of East Finley Twp., Washington Co. Pa. died unexpectedly at 3:37 a.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012 in her home.She was born December 16, 1931 in East Finley Twp. a daughter of the late Martin Raymond and Cynthia Claire Scott Ealy and had resided in the East Finley Twp. area all her life.Mrs. Bedillion was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church where she was an active volunteer with the Ladies Aid and Vacation Bible School.She was a member of the former East Finley 4-H and the Washington County Horse and Mule Association.Mrs. Bedillion enjoyed reading, gardening, canning and collected ceramic chicken figurines.She was an employee of the former Claysville Caf(c) and was last employed by the McGuffey School District as a cook at the East-West Finley Elementary School prior to retiring in 1997.Mrs. Bedillion will be sadly missed by her many friends and neighbors.On April 15, 1950 she married Harry Lee Bedillion who died July 12, 1997.Surviving are a daughter, B. Karen, wife of Ken Hardage of Neosho, MO.; six sons, Harold, husband of Georgia Bedillion, H. Laverne Bedillion, Larry, husband of Sharon Bedillion and Allan Bedillion all of East Finley Twp., Dennis, husband of Norma Bedillion of Claysville and Roger, husband of Rhonda Bedillion of Weirton, WV.; a sister, Donna L. Boone of Lawrence; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her friend and traveling companion Waneta Wright of East Finley Twp.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a granddaughter, Jennifer Hardage; a brother, Raymond Edward Ealy. Visitation and funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced in a later edition.
