Obituary for Olive Webb

Olive Hewitt Rush Webb, 91, of Wind Ridge and formerly of Graysville died at 12:25 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2006 in the Southwestern Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. after being in failing health for the past several years.She was born March 26, 1914 in Graysville, Pa. a daughter of Harry Cleveland and Grace Phillips Hewitt and had resided in Graysville and Wind Ridge areas all her life.Mrs. Webb was a member of the Unity United Presbyterian Church in Graysville. She was a member of the West Greene Senior Citizens, Women of Moose and the Eagle's Club, both in Waynesburg, was also a member of the Graysville V.F.D. Auxilliary.Mrs. Webb enjoyed hunting as long as her health permitted, playing the guitar, country music, dancing, canning and flower gardening. On December 24, 1931 she married William Edwin Rush, Sr. who died in July 1971. In July 1973, she married Haymer P. Webb who died in 1980Surviving are one daughter, Lena Rush (Jack) Adrian of Cameron, W.Va.; one son, William E. (Katherine Marsh) Rush, Jr. of Alliance, Oh.; five grandchildren, Pam (Mark) Wendell , Sherry (Tim) Mackley, Debra (Daniel) Flitcraft, Jack C. (Penny) Adrian, Jr. and Douglas Richard Rush; seven great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one sister, Edna Lohr of Waynesburg, Pa.Deceased in addition to her husbands are five sisters, Sally Kennedy, Ruth Faltz, Mary Gail Grim, Helen Cumpson and Doris Mae Frantz; five brothers, Samuel, Paul and Boyd Hewitt and triplet brothers to Edna Lohr, Edward and Edwin who died in infancy. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Unity U.P. Church.
