Nancy Stoneking

Nancy Lou Stoneking, 78, of Waynesburg, Pa. died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, February 5, 2012 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. after being seriously ill for the past two months.She was born January 6, 1934 in Vestaburg, Pa. a daughter of the late Richard Francis and Helen Rose Stroman Clark and had resided in the Spraggs area prior to moving to Waynesburg in 1989.Mrs. Stoneking was Protestant by faith.She attended Waynesburg High School.Mrs. Stoneking enjoyed her time at Laurel Highland Campgrounds in Donegal, Pa. and also enjoyed reading and puzzle books.She was a former member of the Senior Citizens Bowling League in Waynesburg, a member of the Senior Citizens of Blacksville, W.Va. and the Women of the Moose in Waynesburg.On January 29, 1971 she married J. Patrick Stoneking who survives.Also surviving are a daughter, Melody Robin Russell of Jefferson; three step children, Patrick Earl, husband of Toni Stoneking of Lexington, Ky., James Michael, husband of Sharon Stoneking of Springfield, Ohio and Barbara Jane Gump of Waynesburg; eight step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; a brother, Richard F. Clark, Jr. of Dallas, N. Carolina; two sisters, Linda Lee, wife of Joseph Ward of Dallas, Texas and Donna Faye Porterfield of New York, NY; several nieces and nephews.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to your local American Heart Association.
