Mona Dille

Mona Loreene Dille, 81, formerly of Sycamore R.D. #1, died at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2004 in the Bethlen Home, Ligonier, Pa.She was born February 24, 1923 in Morris Township, Greene County, Pa., the daughter of Percey Swiger and Alice Ruth Rutan.Mrs. Dille had been a resident of Sycamore since 1939 prior to moving Ligonier. She was a member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher and a Bible School volunteer for several years. Mrs. Dille was a former employee of the G.C. Murphy Co. in Waynesburg, prior to being an Avon Representative for 30 years, retiring in 1995.On April 8, 1939 she married Floyd Everett Dille who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, M. Peg Orrel of West Salem, IL. and Melinda, wife of Brian Roberts of Ligonier, Pa with whom she made her home; seven grandchildren, Donald Fike, Phyllis Klein, Lloyd Fike, Deborah Wicklund, Anita Weldon, Justin and Nathan Fieldson; and thirteen great- grandchildren.Deceased is one son, Floyd Dale Dille, who died in 1953. Mrs. Dille was the last of her immediate family.
