Molly Mike

M. Elaine Mike of Morris Twp., Greene Co., Pa. died at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2005 in the Washington County Health Center, Washington, Pa.She was born March 3, 1937 in Glouster, Oh. a daughter of William Henry and Dorothy Stella Reinhart Malone, of Waynesburg and had previously resided in Jefferson, Pa. prior to moving to Morris Twp., Greene Co., Pa. Mrs. Mike was a former member of the Rolling Meadows Church of God, Waynesburg and had attended Crabapple Community Church as long as her health had permitted, and enjoyed attending youth camp meetings with her church.She enjoyed being around children and babysitting.Mrs. Mike was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School.She was a former volunteer teacher with the Open Door Christian School in Lippencott for several years and a former volunteer with Bowlby Library in Waynesburg.Mrs. Mike and her sister formerly performed on a Christian music radio program in Parson, W.Va. On August 27, 1960 she married James Elmer Mike who survives.Also surviving in addition to her parents and husband are a son, James Allen Mike of Mt. Morris, Pa.; a sister, Carolyn, wife of Kermit Jarvis of Wind Ridge, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.
