Mccleese "Cleesy" June Tustin

McCleese “Cleesy” June (Whiteman) Tustin, of Rutan, passed away the morning of June 27, 2022 at Cloverdale Personal Care Home, Masontown, Pa. from complications of Parkinson's Disease.

She was born June 2,1934 to William Alton and Edna Rae (Price) Whiteman. Cleesy graduated from West Alexander High School in 1952. She married Joseph Franklin “Frank” Tustin on January 8, 1956 and they were happily married for 58 years until his passing on May 20, 2014.

Cleesy was a resident of Greene County for most of her married life and was a member of and pianist for Beulah Baptist Church, outside of Nineveh, Pa.

Cleesy is survived by her three children: Jan (Denny) Teagarden, of Carmichaels; Debbie Tustin, of Waynesburg; Tim Tustin, of Rutan; two grandchildren, Denny (Miesha) Teagarden and Jason Teagarden, both of
Carmichaels.

In addition to her husband and parents, Cleesy was preceded in death by sons Patrick and Dale Lynn Tustin, who died in infancy and sister, Lolita, who also died in infancy.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be most grateful if you would share a copy of a family picture since Cleesy’s house burnt down in June of 2021 and precious memories were lost.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359; Telephone: 724-499-5181. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 8 PM with Rev. Dr. Harry Hill officiating. Burial is private.
