Max Jordan Cunningham, 13, of Aleppo, Pa. died at 7:55 a.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015 in The Donnell House, Washington, Pa. after being seriously ill for the past year.
He was born December 8, 2001 in Morgantown, W.Va. a son of Robert Lynn Cunningham of Cameron, W.Va. and Bonnie Sue Jordan of Aleppo and had resided in Aleppo all his life.
Master Cunningham was a 7th grade student in the West Greene Middle School and was a member of the Quiz Bowl team and the reading club.
He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots, his favorite player was Joe Montana, also enjoyed Xbox games, going to school, reading, and the time with his brother and family.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are a brother, Dallas Cunningham, at home; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Ann Spratt Jordan of Aleppo; paternal great grandmother, Barbara Louise Frye Yeater of Cameron; paternal grandparents, Robert Gerald and Barbara Christina Yeater Cunningham of Cameron; pet dog, Duncan; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are his maternal grandfather, Louis (Lou) Albert Jordan, Jr.; paternal great grandfather, Woodrow M. Yeater.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the Aleppo Brethren Church, Aleppo, Pa., followed by a gathering of friends from 2 to 5 p.m. The family is requesting everyone to wear NFL or Star Wars attire. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the West Greene Scholarship Fund, Max Cunningham Account, 1352 Hargus Creek Rd., Waynesburg, Pa. 15370.
