Mary Thompson

Mary L. Thompson, 52, of Holbrook R.D. #1, died unexpectedly at 8:30 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2004. She was born March 17, 1952 in Washington, Pa, the daughter of Lewis F. and Opal Irene Anderson Zediker.Mrs. Thompson had resided Jackson Township and Washington, Pa. prior to moving to Center Township in 1974.She was a 1970 graduate of West Greene High School.Mrs. Thompson enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, reading, playing board games and cards.She was a member of the Willow Grove Independent Baptist Church, Holbrook, Pa. Mrs. Thompson was last employed from 1971 to 1981 as a seamtress by Greenway Manufacturing in Jefferson.On May 2, 1981 she married Samuel Jessie Thompson who survives. Also surviving are two children, Jessica I. and Samantha A. Thompson at home; one nephew, Michael Lee Zediker of Holbrook. Deceased are one daughter, Rebecca Jo Thompson; one son, Leslie Lewis Thompson, who both died in infancy; one sister, Nellie Jane Zediker. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Willow Grove Independent Baptist Church, 756 Hargus Creek Rd, Waynesburg, Pa. 15370.
