Mary Margaret Petrie

Mary M. Petrie, 55, of West Finley, Pa. died at 8:33 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2014 in her home after battling a cancer related illness for the past 7 years..
She was born March 14, 1959 in Proctor, W.Va., a daughter of the late India Geneva Hall and had resided in the West Finley area for the past 32 years.
Ms. attended Cameron High School.
She was employed as a home health aide in elder care for several years prior to retiring in 2012 due to ill health.
Ms. was a member of the West Finley V.F.D Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her companion of the last 32 years, Charles Lee Welling of West Finley, Pa.; two daughters, Mary Jo Petrie and Kristan Nichole Welling both of West Finley; four sons, James Petrie and John Ray Welling both of West Finley, Hubert E., husband of Chrissy Petrie of Avella and Perry Welling of Eighty-Four; five grandchildren; two brothers, Victor, husband of Cookie Strait of Martins Ferry, OH. and Russell, husband of Lynn Hall of Marianna.
Deceased in addition to her mother is a granddaughter, Harper Wright.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the West Finley Cemetery with Pastor Gary Crawford officiating.
