Martin B. (Marty) Haldeman, Jr., 54, of Holbrook, Pa. R.D.#1 died at 4:00 a.m. Sunday, September 21, 2003 in his home after being in failing health since 1994.He was born April 4, 1949 in Upland, Pa., a son of Nellie Cathrine Hair Haldeman Keaton of Pennsville, N.J. and the late Martin B. Haldeman, Sr.Mr. Haldeman had resided in Newark, Delaware for 14 years prior to moving to Jackson Township in 1990.He was Protestant.Mr. Haldeman was a 1967 graduate of Chi Chester High School, Chi Chester, Pa.He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War where he served with the U. S. Marine Corps. as a lance corporal with VM01 (Airwing).Mr. Haldeman was a member of the Greene County Leathernecks and the Unity Masonic Lodge in Newport, Delaware.He was employed by E.I. Dupont in Edgemoor, Delaware as a control room operator for 19 years prior to his retirement in 1990.On April 12, 1969 he married Sharrill Ann (Sharri) Smith Haldeman who survives.Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son, Martin B. (Marty) Haldeman III of Carmichaels, Pa.; a daughter, Jenifer Lewis of Newark, Delaware; a brother, John Michael Haldeman of Millsboro, Delaware.; two sisters, Isabel Schneider of Newark, Delaware and Susan Haldeman of Pennsville, N.J.; three grandchildren, Nina, Taylor and Kennedy Lewis; step father, Buster Keaton of Pennsville, N.J.; a step brother, Clete Keaton of Florida; three step sisters, Diane Poeta of Tenn., Sandy Clark of Florida and Nancy Walters of North Carolina.
