Martha Willy

Martha L. Willy, 80, of Jackson Twp. Greene County, Pa. died at 2:00 a.m., , Tuesday, September 4, 2012 with her family present, in her home after battling a cancer related illness since May.She was born August 14, 1932 in Center Twp. ,Greene County, Pa. a daughter of the late Vance Morris and Bertha Tedrow Moore and had been a resident of Jackson Twp. most of her adult life.Mrs. Willy was a member of the New Freeport Church of Christ.She was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed attending auctions and the time she was able to spend with her family.On May 17, 1952 she married Arleigh Willy, Sr. who survives.Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Arleigh "Babe" Willy, Jr. of New Freeport; four daughters, Arlene, wife of Fred Thomas of Jackson Twp., Emma Rutan and Debbie Durbin both of Waynesburg, and Brenda, wife of Tim Ankrom of Sycamore; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; four brothers and six sisters; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents are a son, James Robert Willy; her stepfather, Russell Moore; four grandchildren; a great grandchild; two brothers.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rush Funeral Home, Inc.
