Obituary for Marlene Lough

Marlene R. Ankrom Lough, 57, of Zanesville, Ohio and formerly of Washington and Greene Co. Pa. died unexpectedly at 8:20 a.m. Sunday, March 12, 2006 in her home of natural causes.She was born March 6, 1949 in Canonsburg, Pa. a daughter of Wilma Jean Hartzell Ankrom of Washington, Pa. and the late Willard Ray Ankrom.Mrs. Lough had resided in Washington and Greene County, Pa. (Sycamore) for several years prior to moving to Zanesville in 1988.She was a member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church in Sycamore and attended the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in Zanesville where she was an active volunteer with the ladies aid of the church.Mrs. Lough was a 1968 graduate of West Greene High SchoolShe was a former employee of Brockway Glass in New Jersey and was last employed as a nutritionist at the New Concord (Ohio) Nursing Center for approximately 10 years prior to retiring in 1993.On September 29, 1967 she married Arthur James Lough who died February 12, 1993.Surviving in addition to her mother are her companion of the the past 14 years, Garald Jones; a daughter, Tracy K. Lough, wife of Kenneth Mathews of Cambridge, Ohio; a son, James (Chrystal) Arthur Lough of Hominy, OK.; three sisters, Darlene (Bill) Bates of Jefferson, Pa.; Kimberly (Brian) Price of Prosperity, Pa. and Bonnie (Kevin) Egger of Cecil, Pa.; four brothers, Bill (Barbara) Ankrom of Jefferson, Terry (Tina) of Ravenna, OH., Tim (Brenda) Ankrom of Sycamore and Bob Ankrom of Nineveh; 2 grandchildren, Jordon K. and Dalton James Lough; several nieces and nephews.
