Margaret Scott

Margaret L. "Peg" Scott, 84, of Rogersville, Pa. died at 2:25 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2007 in the Golden Living Center, Waynesburg after being in failing health for the past several months. She was born December 9, 1923 in Wheeling, W.Va. a daughter of Floyd James and Elizabeth Estelle Long Campbell and had resided in Rogersville since 1938. Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Christian Church in Waynesburg but had attended the Rogersville Christian Church for the past several years as long as her health permitted. She was last employed by the former G.C. Murphy Store and the former South Penn Telephone Company both in Waynesburg. Mrs. Scott enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and friends and sewing and was a member of the Emerald Chapter #135, Order of the Eastern Star in Waynesburg. On March 13, 1958 she married John W. "Johnny Bill" Scott who survives; several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Vivian Lentz and Ruth Battle; one brother, Ralph Campbell. Mrs. Scott was the last of her immediate family. Friends will be received in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. from 11 a.m. and until time of services at 1 p.m Friday, December 28, 2007 with Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Center Twp. Greene Co. Pa.
