Margaret R. Brownlee, 87, of East Finley Township died at 7:08 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2004 in the Breese Personal Care Home in Buffalo Township.She was born November 6, 1916 in East Finley Township a daughter of Earl and Viva Marshall Montgomery and had resided in East Finley Township all her life.Mrs. Brownlee was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church where she was a charter member of the Ladies Aid Society and former primary Sunday school teacher.She served on the board of directors of the Fairview Cemetery and was a member and former secretary of the local Guernsey Breeders Association.Mrs. Brownlee and her late husband owned and operated a dairy and raised registered Guernsey cattle for approximately 40 years prior to retiring in 1979.On February 26, 1941 she married Cecil Nicholas Brownlee who died March 17, 2000.Surviving are two daughters, Joann Brownlee and Martha Jane (Marcy) Munnell both of East Finley Township; one son, Fred Brownlee of New Holland, Pa.; 10 granddaughters, Sandra Ludwig, Carol Ann Yates, Sharon Bedillion, Suzan Mull, Janice Brownlee, Shelby Martin, Sally Pierce, Michelle Rabideau, Sherrill Martin and Nichole Munnell; 26 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.Mrs. Brownlee was the last of her immediate family.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ladies Aid Society of the Fairmount United Methodist Church.Arrangements are under the direction of the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa.
