Madeline Hoge

Madeline Jacinda Hoge, 8, daughter of Gerald John and Brenda Lee Smith Hoge of Center Township, Greene County, Pa. died at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003 in her home after being in failing health for the past several years.She was born March 10, 1995 in Morgantown, W.Va. and has resided in Center Township since 2001.Ms. Hoge attended the Western Pennsylvania School For Blind Children in Pittsburgh and enjoyed swimming and watching television.Surviving in addition to her parents are one brother, Gerald John Hoge, Jr. at home; her maternal grandparents, John E. (John Buck) and Sharon Kay Cumberledge Smith of Waynesburg, R.D.#5 (Center Township); paternal grandparents, Gerald Graham, Jr. and Elaine Carol Rizno Hoge of Morgantown, W.Va.; paternal great grandfather, Gerald Graham Hoge, Sr. of Waynesburg; several aunts, uncles and cousins.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a memorial fund to be established at a future date that will be announced by the family.
