Obituary for Lindsey "Buck" R. Gilbert, Jr.
Lindsey “Buck” R. Gilbert, Jr., age 74, of Holbrook, passed away at home on Friday, November 4, 2016 after a brief illness.
Born on April 26, 1942, in Wellsburg, WV, he is the son of the late Lindsey R. and Harriet (Kimball) Gilbert, Sr.
Lindsey was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed his many trips to Amish Country with his family. Lindsey loved his draft horses and taking care of his other animals on the farm.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Audrey June Gilbert, of Holbrook; four children, Lindsey “Bucky” Gilbert, III., of Waynesburg, PA, Robert Gilbert, of Waynesburg, Francis (Wendy) Gilbert, of New Freeport, PA, and James “Richard” (Heather) Gilbert, of Waynesburg, PA; four grandchildren, B.J. Gilbert, Francis Gilbert, Linsey Renee Gilbert and Braedon Gilbert; one great-grandson, Robert J. Gilbert; his eight siblings, Cathy, James, John, Suzie, Harold, Ralph, Donna and Tammy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Tuffy, Francis and Janis.
At Lindsey’s request, there will be no services held. Arrangements entrusted to Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy, Rogersville, PA 15359.
