Lawrence A. Eddy, 57, of Waynesburg, Pa. died unexpectedly at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2006 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa.He was born March 7, 1949 in Franklin Twp., Greene Co., Pa. a son of the late Jesse James and Dorothy Marie Morris Eddy and had resided in the Waynesburg area all of his life.Mr. Eddy attended the First Church of Nazarene, Waynesburg, Pa. and attended West Greene High School..He was a former employee of George Rhoza Landscaping and was employed as a night manager for several years by Jenkins Arcade, both of Pittsburgh, Pa. and was last employed as a machine operator by the former Omega Transworld in Kirby. Mr. Eddy was a former social member of the V.F.W. Post 4793 and the D.A.V. Post 123 and was a social member of the American Legion Post 330 for the past 24 years, all of Waynesburg.He enjoyed landscaping and tractor repair work.On March 29, 1985, he married Lisa Lynn Hillen Eddy who survives.Also surviving are his children, Tammy Reynolds and Patti (Doug) Ferguson, all of Avella, Pa.; L. Andrew (Jamie) Eddy of Waynesburg, Roger M., Cavalina L., and twins, Siera M. and Sara J. Eddy, all at home.; nine grandchildren, three brothers, Arthur (Ruth) Eddy of Aleppo, Pa., Charles "Bill" (Pat) Eddy and Thomas Ronald (Sally) Eddy, all of Waynesburg; two sisters, Kathryn Yeager of Pine Bank and Lucy Jane Crawford of Brave, Pa.Deceased in addition to his parents are five brothers, Lewis, Terry Leroy, Spencer E., Joseph and Jesse N. Eddy; one sister, Mary Ethel Barlow.
