Lawrence Elwyn Duckworth, 75, of Waynesburg, Pa. and Ocala, Fl., died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 in The Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa.He was born November 29, 1937 in Portsmouth, Ohio a son of Ella Louise Ebert Duckworth of Ocala, Fl. and the late Herald Emphriam Duckworth and had resided in the Holbrook, Pa. area prior to holding a dual occupancy in Pa. and Florida since 2002.Mr. Duckworth attended the Assembly of God Church in Ocala and the Rogersville (Pa.) United Methodist Church.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, reading and held an avid interest in political issues.Mr. Duckworth was a graduate of Stonewall High School in Charleston, W.Va. and W.Va. Tech with a certification in printing. He was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Navy.Mr. Duckworth was employed as a service technician for Icon Office Solutions in Hurricane, W.Va. and a printer for W.Va. Business Forms in Charleston for over 28 years prior to retiring in 1997.On July 2, 1960 he married Constance (Connie) Ann Woodrum who survives.Also surviving in addition to his mother and wife are a son, Chris Rollins, fiance' of Kathi Farry of Pinch, W.Va.; a daughter, Maryanne Isiminger, fiance' of William Wilkinson of Spraggs; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Jean, wife of Darrell Baker of Huntington, W.Va. and Judith, wife of John Moxley of Ocala, Fl..At the request of the family there will be no public viewing. Interment will be held in St. Albans, W.Va. at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa.
