Larry Wood

Larry W. Wood, 65, of Oviedo, Fl. and formerly of Washington, Pa. died at 8:30 a.m. in his home Friday, November 13, 2009 after a lengthy illness.He was born May 8, 1944 in Massillon, Ohio a son of Vivian Marie Knight Wood Renshaw of Eighty Four, Pa. and the late Edward Ray Wood and has been a resident of Florida for the past several years.Mr. Wood was a 1962 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.He was a dedicated volunteer with the Center for Missing and Exploited Children and received an award in 2001 recognizing his efforts.Mr. Wood enjoyed visiting Disney World, following McGuffey High School Football, fishing, traveling and camping as long as his health permitted and collected artwork of Jesse Hager and collecting elephant figurines.He was a former employee of CompuServe and was the founder and president of GoGraphics, Inc. in Orlando, Fl. at the time of his death.Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Richard, husband of Margie Wood of Washington; a sister, Linda, wife of Jim Barr of West Alexander; nieces, Jamie, wife of Josh Pattison, Stephanie Domski, Kim, wife of Chris Tedrow and Heather Sonson; nephews, Jason, husband of Crystal Barr and David Domski; several great nieces and nephews.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to your local Hospice chapter or the charity of your choice.
