L. Lorraine Johnson, 79, of New Freeport, Pa. died at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in her home following a lengthy illness.She was born June 28, 1930 in Garrison, Pa. a daughter of the late Elliott Columbus and Arha Belle Cumberledge Postlewait.Mrs. Johnson had resided in the Garrison, New Freeport and Aleppo areas all her life where she attended the Sand Hill Church of Christ.She enjoyed canning, needlework, cooking and baking and would feed anyone who was hungry and also enjoyed painting the rooms of house yearly.On October 9, 1945 she married Thomas Lee Johnson who died December 8, 2009.Surviving are two daughters, Sandra, wife of Adam Long of Mentor, Ohio and Flora (Cookie) Aberegg with whom she shared her home; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a great granddaughter, Ashley Preslar; four brothers, Orville, Selvy, Thomas and Jesse Postlewait; one sister, Rachel Laprocino; one sister, Leona Harver; 1 brother, Kenneth Postlewait.Mrs. Johnson was the last of her immediate family.
