Kenneth E. Clutter, 68, of West Finley, Pa. died at 6:04 a.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. after being in failing health for the past five years.He was born October 5, 1944 in West Finley Twp. Washington Co. Pa. a son of the late Charles Elmer and Mary Lavaughn Little Clutter and had resided in West Finley since 1991.Mr. Clutter was a member of the Dallas United Methodist Church in Dallas, W.Va. where he served as a member of the nominating committee, PPRC, adult coordinator of the church and was a former trustee.He was also a member of the West Alexander American Legion Post 656, a member and president of the McGuffey Senior Center in Claysville, member and president of the West Finley Friendship Club.Mr. Clutter was a former member of the Stumptown (Ohio) Steam Thrasher Association and the Brownsville Gas and Steam Association.He enjoyed collecting and restoring five antique International/Farmall tractors, and time fishing with his grandchildren and hunting as long as his health permitted.Mr. Clutter attended the former Claysville High School.He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served as a SP4 with the U.S. Army, 154th AVN Co, 4th Army.On October 14, 1967 he married Connie Lou Rhoades who survives.Also surviving are a son, Michael Todd, husband of Roberta Clutter of Dallas, W.Va. and a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Clutter of Morgantown, W.Va.; a brother, Roger, husband of Mary Clutter of Wheeling, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Naomi Colleen and Trenton Bradley Clutter.Deceased in addition to his parents is a son, Kenneth Bradley Clutter who died shortly after birth and a brother, Elmer (Ted) Clutter.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Dallas U.M. Church-Trustees, 7355 Dallas Pike, Dallas, W. Va, 26036.
