Kathryn Staggers

Kathryn M. Staggers, 78, of Pittsburgh, Pa. and formerly of Greene County, Pa. died Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 6:10 a.m. in The Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. after a suffering a stroke this past Thursday.She was born May 7, 1927 in Richhill Twp., Greene Co., Pa. a daughter of Sanford Leslie and Mattie Leah Patterson Rush and had resided in the Graysville area most of her life prior to moving to Pittsburgh in 1962.Mrs. Staggers was a member of the Grandview Church of God in Pittsburgh.She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, checkers and card games.Mrs. Staggers was married to Henry Earl Staggers who died May 2, 1952.Surviving are five daughters, Marjorie, wife of Jerry Howard of Waynesburg, Mary Rogers of Spraggs, Shirley Staggers of Aliquippa, Virginia Mayne of Winchester, Va. and Stella Kay Staggers of Sycamore; four sons, John Staggers of Waynesburg, William Staggers of Rices Landing, Wayne Staggers of Carmichaels and Joseph Clark of Holbrook; one sister, Grace, wife of Arthur Conklin of Washington; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are four sisters, Helen and Della Rush who both died in infancy, Lillian Jones and Irene McEndree; three brothers, Joshua Rush who died in infancy, John and Arthur Rush.
