Karl Campion

Karl R. (Los) Campion, 53, of West Finley Twp. Washington Co. Pa. died at 8:10 p.m., Thursday, June 10, 2010 in the Donnell House in Washington, Pa. after being in declining health for the past several years.He was born April 12, 1957 in Bethel Park, Pa. a son of Erna Dorthea Stitz Campion of Bethel Park and the late Vincent DePaul Campion.Mr. Campion had resided in the Bethel Park area and various areas of the country for several years prior to moving to West Finley Twp. in 1999.He was a 1975 graduate of Bethel Park High School and later earned a Bachelors degree in English and an Associate degree in History from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va.Mr. Campion enjoyed living in the country, hunting, fishing, writing poetry and music that he played on guitar.He was a former employee of A.R.C. Human Services of Allegheny Co. and was last employed as a floor supervisor with Citizen Care Mental Health Center in Robinson Twp. prior to retirement.On June 5, 1992 he married Cheri Lafawn Emehizer who survives.Also surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three children, Jean-Luc, Jeremiah and Amelia Campion, all at home; two brothers, Kevin, husband of Linda Campion of Sycamore and Ronald, husband of Karen Campion of North Huntington; four sisters, Deborah, wife of Art Lanoue of New Freeport, Nadine, wife of Steve Dunn of Findley, Ohio, Bernadine Campion of Bethel Park and Partrica, wife of Todd Krut of Taylorstown; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his father is a sister, Marie Campion.
