Judith M. Gorney, 62, of Aleppo, R.D. #1 and formerly of Erie and Canonsburg, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005 in the home of her son, Angelo Brown.She was born July 7, 1942 in Erie, Pa. a daughter of the late William and Victoria Buirke Ardnt had resided in Erie most of her life prior to moving to Canonsburg where she resided for several years prior to moving to the Aleppo area in 1995.Mrs. Gorney was a member and former President of the New Freeport V.F.D. Auxiliary and a member of the Greene County Democrat committee.She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and was an avid volunteer with Aleppo Twp. youth and other committees. Surviving are four daughters, Angela Lauw of Aleppo, Nannette Watkins of Charlotte, NC., Victoria Watkins of Lansing, MI; Merriel (Missy) Williams of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Angelo husband of Cindy Blouir Brown with whom she made her home, and Eric Lauw of California; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Joanne Ziegler and one brother, Edward Ardnt both of Erie, Pa.Deceased are two sisters, Barbara McGee and Mary Ardnt; and one brother, William Ardnt, Jr.
