Juanita Hooker

Juanita M. Hooker, 78, of Richhill Twp. (Ryerson), Greene Co. Pa. died Monday, January 17, 2011 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. after a two year battle with a cancer related illness.She was born August 19, 1932 in Aleppo Twp. Greene Co. Pa. a daughter of the late Charles Hobart and Wilma Laverne Hieronimus Ruble.Mrs. Hooker had resided in Ohio for several years prior to returning to Greene Co. and Aleppo Twp. and had resided in Richhill Twp. for the past 16 years.She was a member of the former Quiet Dell Brethren Church in Aleppo Twp. where she was a Sunday school teacher, deaconess and secretary/treasurer.Mrs. Hooker joined her brother in a singing ministry from 1988 until 1991.Surviving is a brother, Charles, husband of Winnie Ruble of Aleppo Twp.; a sister, Barbara, wife of Rex Miller of Barberton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents is her last husband, Carl Hooker.
