Joseph Stetson

Joseph O. Stetson, 75, of Claysville and formerly of Washington, Pa. died at 4:50 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2005 in Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. after being in failing health for the past year.He was born December 5, 1930 in Washington, Pa. a son of Marshall Monroe and Melissa Ellen Jackson Stetson and had resided in the Washington area all his life.Mr. Stetson was a member of Calvary Temple in Washington.He was a former employee of Brockway Glass in Washington and J L Steel in Aliquippa and was last employed as a maintenance man by Trinity School District at Trinity West Elementary School for approximately 8 years prior to retiring in 1994.On April 29, 1960 he married Mary Lou Hodgens Stetson who died in February 2002.Surviving are one son, Joseph O. Stetson, Jr. of Claysville; one brother, William Stetson of Bushnell, Fl.; one sister, Alice Call of Washington, Pa.; several nieces and nephewsDeceased are six brothers and seven sisters.
