John William Ealy

John W. Ealy, 61, of Holbrook, Pa. died at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 in the home of his sister, Donna Salsberry of Clarksville (Pitt Gas), after being in failing health for the past year.
He was born December 29, 1953 in Washington, Pa. a son of the late James Fredrick Ealy, Sr. and Helen Virginia Grall Ealy and had resided in West Finley and Cleveland, Ohio prior to returning to Greene County in 1990.
Mr. Ealy was a member of the Nebo United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed hunting and auto mechanics as long as his health permitted.
Mr. Ealy was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was last employed as a painter for the Counts Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Surviving are four brothers, Thomas of Cincinnati, Ohio, George of Blacksville, W.VA., Barry of West Finley and Kevin, companion of Ann Bell of Wind Ridge; a sister, Donna Salsberry of Clarksville (Pitt Gas); several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers, James F. Ealy, Jr. and David Ealy; two sisters, Mary Belle Chadwick and Sharon Grimm.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Private military graveside services will be held in Enon Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are the under the direction of the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa.
