Joel Mcguier

Joel McGuier, 66, of East Finley Township, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on November 10, 1955, he was the son of the late James W. and Ellen L. McGuier.

Surviving are his loving wife Kelley and sons Andrew (Natalie), Devin (Elizabeth) and Ian (Sommer Sprowls) McGuier. Also surviving are his sister, Sue Ellen McGuier, and brothers J. Michael McGuier, and Jay (Janet) McGuier.

Joel loved his family and friends without equivocation. A memorial for invited guests and friends will be held at a time and place convenient to the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Sciences at http://www.pgssalumni.org/donate.
