Jessica Morris Petrie, 17, of Graysville, Pa. R.D.#1 died at 9:18 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.She was born May 7, 1988 in Waynesburg, Pa. a daughter of Alan Dean and Wendy Elaine Clark Morris of Washington, Pa. and had resided in Richhill Twp. most of her life.Mrs. Petrie was a 10th grade student at West Greene High School.She enjoyed computer games, swimming, the beach, and had a large collection of dolphin toys and stuffed animals and also enjoyed pug dogs.Mrs. Petrie was a cancer survivor and cancer free since 1996 and was a Make-a-Wish student.On May 15, 2004 she married James Russell Petrie who survives.Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are a sister, Amanda P. Hood of Porsglove, W.Va.; a brother, Pvt. Jason A. Morris with the U.S. Army at Ft. Jackson, S. Carolina; two step sisters, Jackie Caldwell of Waynesburg and Sara Grace Hood of Pittsburgh; paternal grandmother, Rae Priscilla Morris of Graysville; maternal grandmother, Mabel Kerns Clark of Erie; several aunts, uncles and cousins.Deceased are her paternal grandfather, Raynor Henry Morris; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Earl Clark.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to your local American Cancer Society.
