Janice L. Eddy, 61, of Holbrook, Pa. died at 3:45 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 in UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. after being in failing health since May.
She was born November 7, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio a daughter of Lillian Mae Burfield Tomaro of Ohio and the late John Joseph Tomaro
Mrs. Eddy had resided in Waynesburg prior to moving to Jackson Twp. in 1994.
She attended the Brookside High School in Sheffield Lake, Ohio.
Mrs. Eddy enjoyed her time with family and grandchildren, knitting and attending classic car shows.
She was formerly employed by the Comfort Inn, was a nurse aid at the Franklin Care Center for approximately 10 years, and was last employed by Rush Grocery Video in Rogersville for over seven years.
On October 12, 2002 she married Thomas Ronald Eddy who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Christina (Tina), wife of Brian Reda of Carmichaels and Tiffany Eddy, companion of Cody Gibson, at home; a son, Lloyd Miller, companion of Kelly Graham of Mather; a step-daughter, Amber Black of Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Lauren and Mekenzie Reda, and Megan Gibson; a brother, John, husband of Debbie Tomaro; four sisters, Joanne, wife of Dennis Acevedo, Judy, wife of Mark Heiser and Jeannette, wife of George Eberle, all of Ohio and Joyce, wife of Lonnie Berry of Charleston, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her father is a step-granddaughter, Addison Mae Jeffries.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2015 with Rev.
