Obituary for James L. "Ace" Siburt
James L. Ace Siburt, 65, of Aleppo Twp. Greene County, Pa. died at 12:56 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 in the Donnell House, Washington, Pa. after being seriously ill for the past seven months with a cancer related illness.
He was born September 16, 1950 in Cameron, W.Va. a son of the late James Roy and Marjorie Virginia Phillips Siburt.
Mr. Siburt had resided in the Moundsville, W.Va. area prior to moving to Aleppo Twp. where he had resided for the past 24 years.
He was an avid hunter, enjoyed gardening and canning, and watching sports, and had earned many accolades and several awards for his barbeque sauce.
Mr. Siburt was last employed as a laborer for the J.M. Maintenance Company in Moundsville, and had also assisted the late Donald Martin with his property management.
On July 3, 1984 he married Helen Ruth Haught who died September 9, 2002.
Surviving are his companion of the past 13 years, Rosa Lee McDonald Sigley; a sister, Vanessa, wife of David Gibson of Wheeling, W.Va.; two nieces and two nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents and his wife is a step-sister, Ada Fox.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. All donations should be directed to the Rush Funeral Home, Inc., PO Box 388, Rogersville, Pa. 15359.
