James B. "Jimbo" Crawford

James B. Jimbo Crawford, 55, of Pittsburgh, Pa. died at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh after being in failing health for the past year.

He was born October 1, 1959 in Pittsburgh a son of the late Russell Duane Crawford, Sr. and Elva Alma Kimble Crawford and had been a resident of the Pittsburgh area all his life.

Mr. Crawford was a baptized Methodist.

He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but enjoyed watching all sports.

Mr. Crawford was a former chef at the Pa. Brewing Company and a laborer with the Lawn Control Center, both in Pittsburgh, and was last employed as a laborer with JSH Landscaping Company also in Pittsburgh prior to retiring do to ill health.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Crawford, companion of John Harrison with whom he shared a home; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Natalia, Jack and Axel Harrison; two brothers, Bernard, husband of Karen Crawford of Spraggs and Archie Newt, husband of Norma Crawford of Brave; a sister, Kitty, wife of Ron Kozak of Burgettstown; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are three brothers, Russell D. Crawford, Jr., John J. Crawford and Donald F. Crawford, Sr.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the time of funeral and comittal services, in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 with Pastor Gary Crawford officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests no flowers be ordered, memorial contributions may be made to Jennifer Crawford, 44 Woessner St., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212.
