Jack Carl Adrian, Sr.

Jack C. Adrian, Sr., 84, of Cameron, W. Va. died at 10:28 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 in the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W.Va.
He was born August 16, 1930 in Graysville, Pa. a son of the late Carl Jennings Adrian and the late Fannie Jeanette Welling Adrian McKerrihan, and had resided in Buckhannon, W.Va. for several years prior to moving to the Cameron area in 1963.
Mr. Adrian was a member of the First Christian Church in Cameron and was a 1949 graduate of the former Richhill Twp. High School in Wind Ridge, Pa.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #7 FAM in Buckhannon, the Chapter, Commandery and the Scottish Rite in Wheeling and Clarksburg, W.Va. and the Knights of Pythias Lodge #54 in Buckhannon.
Mr. Adrian was a former employee of Union Drilling in Washington, Pa. and was last employed by the former Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation in Cameron for over 30 years prior to retiring in 1985 as a maintenance mechanic and was a member of the former Quarter Century Club of Columbia Gas.
On July 5, 1951 he married Lena Mae Rush who died December 3, 2013.
Surviving are a son, Jack C. Adrian, Jr., husband of Penny Adrian of Buckhannon; two daughters, Sherry, wife of Tim Mackley of Coolville, Ohio and Pamela, wife of Mark Wendell of French Creek, W.Va.; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Harold, husband of Carolyn Adrian of Cary, N. Carolina; one-half brother, Merrill, husband of Sandra Adrian of Sorento, Fl.; one-half sister, Nora Belle, wife of Frann Woodmansee of Mt. Pleasant, N. Carolina; on step-sister, Betty McKerrihan Crow of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents and wife are his step-father, Earl McKerrihan; step-mother, Leota M. White Adrian.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church of Cameron, 7 N. Ave., Cameron, W.Va. 26003. .
