Howard Tustin Sr

Howard W. Tustin, Sr., 60, of New Freeport, Pa. died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004 in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa. after a brief illness.He was born October 3, 1943 in Littleton, W.Va. a son of Inez Loretta Wade Tustin of Waynesburg and the late Tim Tustin.Mr. Tustin was a self employed carpenter most of his working life, and had also been employed by the former D.V.M. Co., the Marks Toy Co., Accurate Brass and the former canoe factory in Carmichaels, and was last employed as a Springhill Township Supervisor from 1988 until retiring in 1994.On November 8, 1967 he married Sudi Lee Barger Tustin who survives.Also surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son and daughter from a previous marriage, Howard W. "Willie" Tustin, Jr. of New Freeport and Tina Wickham of Aleppo Township; from this marriage, a son, Donald Leroy Tustin of New Freeport; two daughters, Cindy Thorne of New Freeport and Lisa Tustin of Mather, Pa.; one sister, Retha Wise of New Freeport; six grandchildren, Michael Allen Tustin, Stacy and Brandon Wickham, Jeanette Tustin, Kymberli and Ryan Thorne; three step grandchildren, Amanda, Travis and Christopher Minton.Deceased in addition to his father is a brother who died at birth.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
