Helen Jane Mounts, 49, of Washington, Pa. died Monday, July 4, 2011 at 12:47 p.m. in her home, though in failing health for the past five years, her death was unexpected.She was born August 13, 1961 in Washington, Pa. a daughter of Harold D. and Norma Kinder Mounts of Buffalo Twp. and had resided in the Washington area all her life.Miss Mounts was a member of the Claysville United Methodist Church.She was a 1979 graduate of McGuffey High School.Miss Mounts enjoyed watching movies and was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan.Surviving in addition to her parents is a son, Lucas D., husband of Jill McDaniel of Sydney, Australia; a grandchild, Avery McDaniel; a sister, Janet, wife of Ed Bebout of Amity; two brothers, Alan, husband of Linda Mounts of Buffalo Twp. and Larry, husband of Nancy Mounts of West Alexander; maternal grandmother, Helen M. Doty Kinder of Buffalo Twp.; several nieces and nephews.Deceased is her maternal grandfather, Isaac Kinder; paternal grandparents, Robert and Mabel Patterson Mounts.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Claysville United Methodist Church, 1279 RT. 40 W, Claysville, Pa. 15323 or the charity of your choice.
