Helen W. Moore, 74, of Holbrook, Pa. R.D.#1 (Kuhntown) died Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa. after being in failing health for the past several years.She was born April 3, 1930 in East Finley Twp., Washington County, Pa. a daughter of Fred and Sadie Cumberledge Whipkey and had been a resident of Waynesburg prior to moving to Kuhntown in October 1963.Mrs. Moore was an employee of the former Cameron Pottery and Burkowitz Pajama Factory. She was also employed as a cook at the Waynesburg Senior Center and at the former Alberts Restaurant also in Waynesburg. And was last employed as a shop supervisor for Greene A.R.C. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, flowers, and time spent at family reunions. On October 9, 1952, she married Perry Moore, Jr. who died on October 8, 1997.Surviving are four daughters, Deborah Wilkerson of Sycamore, R.D. #1, Clara (Sis) wife of Sam Crawford of Waynesburg (Lippencott), Audrey wife of Benjamin Tate of Kuhntown, and Donna wife of Richard Isaac of Rittman, Ohio; two sons, Robert husband of Vickie Warner Moore of Kuhntown, Perry Richard husband of Susan Campbell Moore of Spraggs, R.D. #1; one foster son, James Carpenter of Waynesburg; three brothers, Lawrence and Ray Whipkey both of Holbrook, R.D. #1 and Earl Whipkey of Waynesburg, Pa.; twenty one grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her husband are a daughter, Connie Sue Moore; a son, William Stephen Moore; three sisters, Pauline Dailey, Betty Blake, and Minerva Whipkey; one brother, Charles Whipkey.
